I’ve read in psychology the reasons for attempted suicide are as followed:
depression - Pain of existence (in short)
psychosis - Malevolent inner voices; schizophrenia.
and impulsiveness - Often related to drug abuse. When sober, the individual becomes ashamed.
I also have noticed a trend in my article/book readings that the ritual of suicide; in most cases it translates to “Please help me”.
